April always seems to appear out of nowhere. Maybe because Easter changes each year so it’s hard to anticipate its coming like the other big holidays. Or maybe it’s because you’re never sure if you’ll be hunting (or hiding) eggs in the snow, rain or a lovely mild day. Either way, I love seeing the fresh green on the trees and the pastel coloring everywhere you go. Spring is an awakening where you suddenly notice the world around you after hunkering down in the cold for a few months and everyone seems to be anticipating those glorious warm days to come.
This year, April is going to be busy with bridal celebrations for a family member, visits with my brother and, hopefully, a new release. I’m working hard on getting it finished and I hope you’ll love it as much as I’ve loved writing it. Life seems poised with breathless anticipation of happy change to come and I can’t wait to see what’s around the bend in the road.
Life is full of moments that stick with you (good or bad). I took my half-asleep nephew out of the car to take him inside the house. After wrapping his arms around me and resting his head on my shoulder, he told me ‘I love you. I wish you were part of my family’. I reminded him I was his aunt, so I was part of his family. ‘No,’ he said ‘I want to you to to be a part of my family and always live in my house’. Awww!
My brother’s toddler twins grinned and played games with me while I fed them in their highchairs.
And we attended a kid’s chess competition in Las Vegas where we realized in half-panic/half-laughing in shock/half-horrified that there are half-naked pictures of women…everywhere! Including on the road as we’re driving behind a sketchy truck showing what they were offering and on lifesize posters while walking to our room. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my nephews eyes so big. We had a lot to discuss when we finally made it into the room.
Yep. Moments can be crazy. We’ll be talking, shaking our heads, and laughing about them for years to come. I hope you have some memorable moments of your own that will become memories for the book of your life.

Two souls meant to be
Addison Grimaldi lived a happy, simple life as an aquatics history professor, dreaming of one day stepping foot in the ocean. Then Prince Alexander Marinius walked into her life and turned everything upside down.

A search for a lost treasure
Determined to convince her otherwise, he planned how to sweep her off her feet when serendipity left her stranded on the mythic islands of Atlas. And as he helped her search for a famous sunken ship, the mysteries keeping them apart revealed fears she needed to conquer…and a family secret that would change everything.
A future in reach
When an old enemy rears his head, Alexander will need to call on all his skills as a Blackstar Guardian to rescue Addison from a threat out of the past and convince her to take a chance on forever as they sail across a starlit sea….
Light contemporary cozy fantasy romance with humor, heart, and a swirl of magic!
Abigail ran the bakery the women in her family had started generations before, using her kitchen empathy Gift to infuse the baked goods with positive emotions to benefit the community. She loved what she did, but no more so than when the door jangled and in walked Killian James. He fascinated her like no one else and their daily conversations in the bakery were the highlight of her day as he slowly gave her glimpses of the charming man under the shuttered façade.
A man looking for a new start
New to town, Killian had left all he’d ever known and knew his scarred soul might never heal but everything changed when he walked into the local bakery and looked into the warm brown eyes of Abigail Harrington. His head told him to back away, that it was dangerous to even contemplate letting anyone get close but his soul recognized something in her that drew him ever closer. Her innocently alluring warmth made resisting her as difficult as not eating her warm cinnamon rolls and, as he found himself returning to the bakery every morning, began to wonder why he was fighting it at all.
Falling under Autumn’s Magic
When the annual Harvest Moon Festival begins, the town is painted with pumpkins, caramel apples, and magical corn mazes under brilliant blue autumnal skies. An impulsive invitation on Killian’s part leads the two of them to nights baking muffins and days strolling through the festively decorated town square with Abigail’s hand in his.
But when the truth of his past comes to light, will it irrevocably damage their chance for a future together?
